exploitative, smug, poorly acted (with the exception of Stacy Chbosky, who's the wife of the director btw). at least it's good to see that Dowdle later outgrew this.
"He will be there." Smart act, but all the main horror scenes are far from touching and authentic. It's generally like the whole idea is smart, but not feasible to make it real or to have terrifying impact.
