2022/10/24 Big gear up from last film. Good cinematographer. Miles better acting. The atmosphere is top-notch, especially the first half hour of the movie. When 80s new wave start to play, everything clicked. Freddy Krueger like dream sequence, reminds me Dream Warriors the most. The new little girl Pierrot is also very impressive, especially her first appearance in the prologue. The gore is over the top violent, kind of like trash cinema (Street Trash, Frank Henenlotter and of course Troma). The downside is the length. Any horror film over 100 mins is a crime, unless you are Hereditary.
